About Us

In early 2014, Mr. Anup Kumar, a dedicated dancer and choreographer, began sharing his passion for dance with special needs children through Marathon Dance Academy. His efforts, which spanned schools, NGOs, and various charitable trusts, aimed to bring joy and enrichment to the lives of these children and their families. By 2016, Mr. Anup Kumar, supported by his friends, began organizing special events to further celebrate and support these incredible children.

In November 2019, this vision was formalized with the founding of SmileStation Foundation. Together with Trustees Ms. Harshada Haldankar and Ms. Nayana Shelar, Mr. Kumar transitioned from Marathon Dance Academy to establish a non-profit charitable trust dedicated to expanding their impact. SmileStation Foundation is now taking its initial steps toward fulfilling its mission of creating meaningful opportunities and experiences for special needs children.

We approach our mission with a holistic strategy that addresses the diverse needs of each child. Our programs are tailored to accommodate individual needs, ensuring that every child receives personalized support. We organize events like the “Happy Feet” series and other special celebrations to provide platforms where children can showcase their talents and gain confidence. The SmileStation Foundation is dedicated to supporting differently abled kids in their overall growth across all aspects of life, empowering and motivating them to navigate every path of their journey.

In the comping years trust plans to provide help to disable and underprivileged children to learn, assimilate knowledge, and lead an independent life with dignity. Our mission is to empower disabled children through specialized brain development activities, fostering a holistic approach to their growth and potential. To organize various competitions and contests for physically and mentally disabled children that enhance analytical, emotional, and physical development, ensuring every child to achieve in all walks of life.
